While there is no entry fee to visit the museum, photography is strictly prohibited, including mobile phone photography.

Sacred Kunds for a Holy Dip

Behind the Mahadev idol, you will also find four sacred kunds filled with water from the holy Triveni Sangam of the Tapi River, Mahisagar, and Gupt Ganga River. These kunds are visited by devotees who come here for a holy bath to purify the soul.

For those wishing to take a dip, there is an entry fee of ₹50 per person. The temple has separate bathing sections for men, women, and children, along with changing room facilities for added convenience.

Additional Attractions at Galteshwar Mahadev Temple

In addition to the main temple and the sacred kunds, Galteshwar Mahadev Temple also features two separate temples where visitors can offer their prayers. The temple complex is spread over a large area, complete with benches and shaded spots where you can relax while enjoying the scenic view of the Tapi River.

A small shop located near the temple sells Mahadev idols, bracelets, and chains, allowing devotees to take home a token of their visit. Within the temple campus, there is also a canteen that serves refreshments for all visitors.

For those planning to stay longer, rooms for accommodation are available, making it a perfect spot for an overnight spiritual retreat.

Backpacker Hostels - Work from Hill

This article is for you.

What is a Hostel?

A hostel is a budget-friendly accommodation, similar to a cheap hotel, where people stay while traveling or living away from home. Some hostels also provide temporary shelter for those without homes.

How Work from Home Led to Work from Hostel?

Before the pandemic, work from home (WFH) was only an option in special cases—such as family functions or health issues. However, the pandemic forced employees to work remotely, which opened up new opportunities.

For those who needed just a laptop, Wi-Fi, and headphones, work could now be done from anywhere. ๐ŸŒ

Hotels Transforming into Hostels ๐Ÿจ → ๐Ÿ›️

During the pandemic, travel restrictions made it difficult for people to go on trips. Many frequent travelers started feeling stuck at home.

To adapt, the hospitality industry saw an opportunity—many hotels converted their private rooms into dormitories to attract remote workers. And it worked! Hostel culture boomed as more employees started choosing Work from Hostel (WFH).

Why Are People Choosing Hostels in Nature? ๐ŸŒฟ

City life can be exhausting, and many professionals crave a natural, peaceful environment. However, due to limited job opportunities in villages, moving permanently isn’t an option.

The solution? Work from hostels in scenic locations! ๐Ÿ•️

Here are some popular Work from Hostel destinations in India:

๐Ÿ“ Coorg, Manali, Jibhi

๐ŸŒฟ Enjoy Nature Every Day

Hostels in scenic locations offer fresh air, mountain views, and peaceful surroundings—a refreshing break from city life.

๐Ÿ”️ Weekend Trips & Trekking

Many hostels are located near hills, beaches, and forests, making it easy to explore new places and go trekking on weekends.

๐ŸŽฎ Indoor & Outdoor Games

Some hostels offer table tennis, foosball, volleyball, and other fun activities—a great way to relax and bond with fellow travelers.

๐ŸŽ‰ Weekend Events & Activities
