My Experience at Pluz Resort

Day 1

🚗 Departure from Surat: 8:30 AM
🥞 Breakfast Stop: 10:00 AM
📍 Arrival at Pluz Resort: 1:00 PM (Google Maps led us the wrong way, and there were no signboards for the resort)

Check-in Delay: Despite having a pre-booked reservation, we had to wait 30 minutes for check-in.
Lunch Experience: Had lunch at 2:30 PM (late), rated 3.5/5 (possibly affected by the delay).

💤 After lunch, we rested for a while.

Evening Snacks: Enjoyed high tea near the swimming pool at 5:30 PM.
Swimming Pool Fun: Large, clean pool with filtered water. Rain dance started at 7:00 PM, but I preferred swimming over dancing. We stayed in the pool until 8:00 PM.

🍽️ Dinner at 10:00 PM – Rated 4.5/5 (better than lunch). Afterward, we relaxed and played games in our room.

❌ Poor Tap Maintenance – Many taps were not working properly
❌ No Dental Kit – Not provided despite the pricing

Saputara is a hill station located in Sahyadri or Western Ghats. Saputara town is part of Dang district in Gujarat. It is a only hill station in South Gujarat. Saputara weather is always awesome. If you want to enjoy saputara weather, visit Saputara in Winter, Monsoon. Saputara temperature stay between 14 °C to 34 °C.

About my experience :

I and my friend left surat for saputara at 7:00 a.m. Our plan is to reach via Mahuva Jain Temple. We reached Mahuva at 8:00 a.m. We worshipped and took breakfast there and left for saputara for 8:30 a.m.

Road from Mahuva to Saputara is very narrow because it passes from many small villages. There is not highway. The road also passes from Waghai Jungle.

Gira Waterfall

We reached Gira Waterfall around at 11:00 a.m. Due to 3 days of short vacation, crowd was very much. We parked our car at parking area (30 Rs) and entered by entry gate (10 rs) to water fall. Due to heavy rain, there is too much flow of water there. We spend here almost 1 hour and enjoy waterfall and nature. We also enjoyed eating Kamrakh ( star fruit ) in drizzle. Here there is only one hotel to stay and restaurant for heavy breakfast. We have faced network issue here.

Waghai, Dang is tribal area. You can find many tribal things and antique things. Many wooden toys you can find here. Waghai and Dang area is close to nature. People here are depends on selling tribal antique things and tourism.

We left for saputara at 12:00 a.m and it is 50 km away from Gira Waterfall. Now the road was very romantic due to drizzle and passes through from long trees and road is also circular some time. We enjoyed this route.

River is also come on the way. We took many photos of river with surroundings and of us. Sometime route was very dangerous. Sometimes very danger turning comes on the way to Saputara. So if you are new in driving don't come with your vehicle. It is little bit difficult and in Rain, it is much difficult.

Reached Saputara

We reach Saputara by 2:00 p.m . We have already booked Jain Dharamshala online due to high rate of all hotels and unavailability of rooms at hotels. Because we have fixed our trip on last moment. As per schedule, we are already late. So instead of getting fresh at room, we went to Hotel Lakeview for Lunch. This hotel is exact opposite side of Lake.

Saputara Lake

So after lunch we go for boating in Saputara lake. There were two type of boats. Oar boat and peddle boat. We had chosen peddle boat. For peddle boat, Ticket was 300 rs and max 4 person can sit. We are only 2 still we had to take tickets for 4. It is mandatory. We waited for half an hour due to waiting line. We enjoyed boating for 30 mins. View was awesome from whole lake.

There is already 5:00 p.m. We filled fuel in car (have much waiting line) and left for table point at 5:45 p.m. I had listened route is not good to reach table point and many car slipped due to high slope with circular. Still I thought to try. We went but returned from half road due to looks like risky at evening.

We returned to room at 6:30 p.m and refresh.

I was very tired and due to rainy atmosphere, my eyes closed for next 7 hours instead of 1 hour. I woke up at 1:00 a.m and my friend told me that he tried too much to wake up me. So we both didn't had taken dinner. We talked at mid night and slept again.

We woke up and refreshed. We move to do breakfast at same hotel LakeView. We ate Saputara Special Dosa. Taste was good. I give 4.5 start out of 5.

Table Point

We reached mid way of Table Point and parked car due to risk. And We reached Table Point by walk. It is around 100 meters away from parked car. We reached there and seen that there was too much fog. Full foggy atmosphere was there and also drizzle was there. I was not hungry but still I wanted to eat something hot. So I ordered Maggie. Maggie + Mountain + Rain is best combination ever. We enjoyed Maggie and atmosphere and then we returned in 1 hour. Because we had to goto Mangi Tungi (70 km from Saputara).

As we went in rainy season, there is no meaning of goto Sunrise point and Sunset Point. Rope way service is not resumed after Covid-19. There are also some points like Rose garden, Tribal Museum, Church, etc.
